About Pangolin
People celebrate February 18th as Pangolin Day. It is because these animals are dying easily.
- Pangolins are mammals.
- They are hard shelled, hunted in endangered mammals often called the scaly anteater.
- Mostly Pangolins found in across Asia and South of the Sahara Desert in Africa, they weigh as much as 11.6 kgs to 33 kgs.
- They may be yellowish brown, to dark olive and brown .

- A Pangolin's tongue is and at times is longer than its whole body. It is covered with a sticky slime which it uses to catch ants or termites.
- Pangolins do not have teeth, have a poor eyesight and a good sense smell .
