Do you know how these animals use there skills to survive in the world ?

Ibexes live in high up in European, African and Asian mountains. They feed on grass and other natural resources found in the area. Pads on the back of their feet help them climb steep rocks.

Rocky Mountain Goat of north America is closely related to Chamois. it small hoofs help it to climb steeps rocks to escape hunters.

Puma hunts mammals such as sheep in the American mountains. It hides extra food to eat later. Most pumas hunt at night. It is also known as Cougar or Mountain Lion.

Chamois are good climbers. They live in herds. One member of the herd looks out for danger and whistles to warn the others. In winter they come down the mountain in search of pine shoots and other things to feed on. They mostly found in mountains areas of Europe and Asia.

Vicunas are found in Andes mountains. They live in groups. They spit strong smelling liquid and chewed food at attackers. Their hoofs are sharp, with a thick sole and a curved part which grips rocks firmly.

Pika is a rounded - eared tailless animals. It's also known as mouse - hare because of its looking. It mostly found Asia, Europe and in some parts of North America. It stores dried leaves in hollows for the winter.

Himalayan Snow Leopards travels long distance during daytime to hunt sheep, small mammals and birds. it takes shelter during night. It has long and thick tail.

Funny Fact:

Almost all the dogs found in  world have pink tongue, but Chow Chow dogs have black tongue.

Why? Why? 

Squirrels have bushy tails


Bushy tails help the squirrels to move quickly from branch to branch without falling. They also use there tails like parachutes in case they fall off a tree. They also use there tails for threatening other squirrels.
